Undetectable=Untransmittable: Building Hope and Ending HIV Stigma is the second webinar in our WATCH! 2017 treatment advocacy webinar series! During this webinar, participants were provided with an overview of Undetectable=Untransmittable, including the science behind HIV treatment as prevention, an overview of the U=U advocacy campaign, and some unique ways U=U specifically impacts women living with HIV. The webinar was presented in partnership with partner organization, Prevention Access Campaign, and had an amazing panel of speakers including:

  • Benjamin Young, MD, PhD, senior vice president/chief medical officer, International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC)
  • Bruce Richman, Ed.M, JD, founder, executive director, Prevention Access Campaign and Undetectable = Untransmittable (#UequalsU)

Certification: The WATCH! 2017 treatment advocacy series will consist of 3-5 webinars throughout the year. The Well Project will issue certificates of completion for each 1.5 hour webinar to participants who attend the live webinar or view recording, and complete the pre- and post-assessment test. The webinars will be recorded for those who are unable to participate live and will be accessible for one month after they initially take place. If you are accessing the recording of the webinar, you still need to complete the pre-and post-assessments. A final evaluation survey will also be disseminated at the end of the series.
