Vickie Lynn, Ph.D., MSW, MPH has been living with HIV since 1985 and has spent the past few decades advocating for and empowering women living with HIV. She has worked with local, community, and national organizations on HIV prevention, care, treatment, and policy issues as well as other health issues and populations. Surviving an AIDS diagnosis, homelessness, and substance abuse, Vickie earned dual master's degrees in public health and social work with a concentration in behavioral health. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in public health focused on understanding the system of care and exploring ways to improve the delivery of health and human services for people diagnosed with HIV. Vickie hopes to inspire other women living with HIV to follow their dreams and to know they are not alone. One woman at a time.
