Webinar: Earlier Access to Care for Uninsured Women Living with HIV - March 31, 2015

March 31, 2015
2:00 - 3:00 pm ET
via National Health Law Program (NHeLP) and SisterLove, Inc.

Please join the National Health Law Program (NHeLP) and SisterLove for a webinar on the opportunities in Medicaid for earlier access to care for women living with HIV ("WLWH").

The Affordable Care Act, through the Medicaid Expansion, presents the opportunity for previously ineligible low-income women living with HIV to become eligible for Medicaid. However, individuals living in non-Expansion states are left out of this opportunity and subsequently, they are left without the care they need. This webinar reviews the importance of the Medicaid program for low-income WLWH, and how § 1115 demonstrations can effectively be used to develop innovative models to provide access to early treatment for this community. Please click here to register for the webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
