Arianna Lint, is a "refugee" Latina Transgender Woman who just opened her own organization "TransLatina Florida Chapter." Her last job was as the Director of Transgender Advocacy for a South Florida not-for-profit.

Now her role is to help connect transgender residents with employment opportunities, safe housing, social networks and medical services. She has served on the board for TransLatin@ Coalition, Chair of the Community Empowerment Committee of the HIV Broward planning council, she is part of the TransAction Florida group of Equality Florida and has also recently become a Member of the Trans (T+) National Advisory Board sponsor Transgender Law Center of San Francisco and Elton John Foundation. She is also on the Community Advisory Board for The Well project. Arianna is originally from Peru, where she lived through her graduation from Law School at San Martín de Porres University.

Why Arianna wants to be part of A Girl Like Me: I hope that through this site I can communicate openly and objectively with all of YOU, focused on change for all of us. I have always said: "HIV is not the problem – the problem is that one does not know anything about HIV." Here among us I am at your service so we can create the "difference for good" for all the girls like ME…

Arianna Lint es una "refugiada" Latina Y mujer Transgénero que trabaja como directora en servicios y activismo en la Agencia SunServe, en una agencia sin animo de lucro en el Sur de la Florida para trabajo social y mental que sirve a la comunidad Lesbiana, Gay, Bisexual y transgénero y los que cuestionan en la comunidad. El roll de ella es ayudar a conectar a mujeres transgéneros que son residentes con trabajo, lugar seguro de vivienda, lugares sociales para intercambiar ideas y servicios médicos. Ella ha participado en la junta de miembros de Translatin @ coalición, es oradora para Brystol-Myers Squibb, y SAVE, esta en la silla de community empowerment committee en cuanto al planeo del consejo de la ciudad de Broward (para una Florida Igualitaria) y recientemente también es miembra de Trans (T+) como asesora nacional. Arianna es originaria de Perú, donde vivió y hizo su carrera hasta graduarse de leyes en San Martín de Porres (Universidad).
