Visual AIDS utilizes art to fight AIDS by provoking dialogue, supporting HIV+ artists, and preserving a legacy, because AIDS is not over.
Are you an artist living with HIV? Visual AIDS invites you to join our Artist+ Registry, an online community of artists living with HIV. Anyone living with HIV/AIDS can become an Artist Member for free. Benefits include a personalized website to display and share your artwork, grants for art materials, connection to artists and curators around the world, and more!
For artists in New York City, Visual AIDS offers additional programs and services including professional artwork photography, exhibition tours, and a monthly Women’s Empowerment Art Therapy Workshops facilitated by Project Director and Artist Member Shirlene Cooper.
