Angel Stetson (she/her) is 54 years young and a long-term survivor living and thriving undetectable with HIV. She is a heterosexual cis woman in a 13-year relationship with her partner who is negative. She is a mother of a beautiful daughter who is 36 years old and has two granddaughters, ages 18 and 16.
Angel studied to be a paralegal at Keiser University and earned her certificate degree at Boston College. She has been blogging for A Girl Like Me for The Well Project since 2015 and has participated as a speaker with The Well Project as well. She also recently received her certificate of completion for The Well Project's seven-part WATCH 2.0 virtual training series. She has volunteered for her local AIDS service organization since 2006 and does public speaking and outreach for The Bethesda House, a local place for people who are newly diagnosed with HIV or looking for support in their journey while living with HIV.
Angel is passionate about stopping stigma related to HIV. She enjoys educating her community and whoever will listen about U=U.
