The virus is dormant not gone away

26 years I've lived with this disease
Every ounce of life I will always squeeze
I'll say it again and again if you please
HIV will never define me

I educate the world to keep the disease at bay
But education is lost in the politics of today
Yet more and more minds I continue to sway
HIV will never define me

So if you are living now with HIV
Don't be concerned about mortality
All you need is to learn the reality
