“Given the uncertainty of federal funding, the threats to bodily autonomy and programs for those living with HIV, it is more and more important to be amongst those who share my lived experience and my desire to elevate the lived experience of others.”

Challenges, changes, and cancellation of funding cannot truly suppress the brilliance and determination of the scientists, researchers, and community members that are striving toward improving the lives of those living with HIV.

When we, as a community, have access to support, treatment, care, resources, a stake in what actually happens in our lives – we can change the trajectory of bloodlines for generations to come.

I highly recommend attending future ANAC conferences. The experience will enrich your understanding of HIV care, connect you with like-minded professionals, and inspire you to make a difference in the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
