Conference Updates

The Well Project is a regular presence at conferences of all kinds: regional, national, and international HIV community convenings; research and advocacy meetings; gatherings at the intersections of health, gender, and justice; and more. Such events offer key opportunities for The Well Project to share our resources and support women in our community in expanding their leadership platforms through presenting, networking, and reporting on their experiences. View this page for highlights from conferences we have attended in recent years.

2016

Attending the IAS Durban and Women Now! Summit, 2016 has been quite informative for me, and as an advocate and Global Ambassador of the Well Project, again it was overly enriching and has better equipped me to give excellent service to my community in providing new and up-to-date information on HIV cure and new treatment development.

The International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2016) has officially begun in Durban, South Africa.

It was a great privilege given to me by The Well Project (TWP) and the International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2016) who gave me a partial scholarship to attend the upcoming IAC in Durban, South Africa. I never could have been able to attend if not for The Well Project and its team of great people who encouraged me to apply for the scholarship.

From February 22 to February 26, 2016, approximately 4,000 scientists, clinicians, and HIV advocates from 96 countries gathered in Boston for the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI).

2014

The annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) took place in Boston, Massachusetts from March 3 through March 6, 2014.
