Intro – Alexandria

My name is Alexandria Hicks. I'm a mother, a survivor, and a woman who has faced challenges that at times felt impossible to overcome. I want my readers to know that I'm not writing from a place of perfection—I'm writing from real life. Through my writing, I hope to share both the heartbreak and the hope that have shaped my journey.

I was diagnosed with HIV and I've experienced firsthand the stigma that still surrounds it. I've also faced loss, addiction, homelessness, family separation, and the difficult process of rebuilding my life. My goal is not just to tell my story, but to create space for honest conversations and remind others that they are not alone. Continue reading...
