In May 2024, CHLP launched its first-ever strategic visioning process to ask and begin to answer a central question: How do we help create a future where people living with HIV and other stigmatized health conditions live freely, without surveillance, discrimination, stigma, violence, or criminalization?
Over the past year, CHLP staff and consultants have worked collaboratively to develop a strategic plan that will guide an impactful and responsive period of work and growth over the next four years. The plan is designed as a living framework—one that supports ongoing reflection, accountability, and adaptation as our work continues within an ever-shifting landscape.
Join us for a webinar on December 11, where we'll introduce the plan and mark the beginning of this exciting new chapter. We are strengthening our focus on our core mission to end the criminalization of HIV and health status while moving boldly into new directions, bringing our legal expertise and abolitionist values to the broader fight for health justice.
Our strategic plan is the culmination of 20 years of making positive justice possible. Join us to celebrate both our roadmap for navigating this political moment and the journey that brought us here. This event will provide an overview of the strategic planning process and the plan itself, and will feature reflections from several people who played key roles in shaping it.
