The US HIV Cure Research Academy will take place in April 22-24, 2026 in Durham, North Carolina. This year the academy will enroll up to 20 talented candidates working in the HIV field in the United States, and interested in building knowledge of HIV cure science and skills in translation. The selected fellows will have a unique opportunity to interact with leading researchers and advocates over 2.5-days of intensive and interactive training. The academy will provide the tools and resources for fellows to develop their research literacy in HIV cure, and to improve and reinforce their translation and engagement skills through networking opportunities and hands-on experience.
The application closes on Friday, February 13th, 2026. All applications will be reviewed by an expert panel of researchers and community stakeholders with a previous experience in HIV cure research. Accepted applicants will be notified by February 20th, 2026.
