The Well Project is thrilled to launch Driving Impact and Positive Change: The Well Project 2025 Annual Report, which outlines our accomplishments and activities over the past year and grounds them in a context of more than two decades of leadership. While we continue to operate in a highly charged and challenging environment in which evidence-based information, education, and research around HIV are limited and in some cases eliminated altogether, we are pleased to share our perspectives on the vital role of community and the dramatic impact of engagement and advocacy.
This 2025 Annual Report focuses on the impact that The Well Project has on the broader HIV community, including women living with and vulnerable to HIV, healthcare providers, policymakers, researchers, and others. Evidence demonstrates that our resources deliver essential, measurable services to women that help improve their health outcomes and quality of life, among other indicators. As we share our work from 2025, we are excited to spotlight the ways that our outcomes-oriented work impacts women living with and vulnerable to HIV.
We are also eager to share additional highlights of our efforts over the last year and to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to our community. "The Well Project's leadership has never been more necessary than it is today, as we endure a second year of US federal government cuts to the HIV research, services, and protections that are critically needed by the communities we serve," said The Well Project executive director, Krista Martel. "The Well Project has long been a trusted and widely accessed resource; we are resolved to further fill the ensuing gap created by this administration."
We remain steadfast in our commitment to our values and advancing this work in partnership with our community. Even amid these dark days, together we can envision and build a brighter future.
