Mommy Issues

A mother and daughter should be close. The relationship should be a loving and nurturing one. A mother should be equated with the words safety and trust. These were not my experiences, but despite that I was loved.

My mother told me as a young child how she regretted her pregnancy with me because it meant that she was stuck in an abusive marriage for another three years.

Thank so so much for sharing this soul touching experience my dearest sister.
This made me wept this morning as I read through your blog. Thank for your courage.
For me I could only share with some few persons about this.
Our stories are similar but a little bit different.
Your mum did love you.
When I first got rape and ran back home to my parent my mum was the one who gave my belongings back to my perpetrator and she said to me , your father have sold you out like a slave and you will die as a slave! Those were my mother words to me at that time I was just 15yr old.
Once Again thank you and we love you.

I am so sorry for your experience. That should not have happened to any child. I have found that for me a lot of therapy has helped. I hope that you are receiving support and help.

Before the TWP my life was just hitting the bottom of the rocks that was killing me inside out. I will not lie to you I have never gone for any therapy which I know I need. life keep boxing me to a corner but I know that I shall overcome someday.
