According to the CDC, in 2018, Black/African American people accounted for 13% of the US population but 42% (16,002) of the 37,968 new HIV diagnoses in the United States and dependent areas.

If 2020 has taught us anything it's that life is precious but not guaranteed! Individuals living with HIV can have as good a life as the next BUT with the advancements in science and accessibility to testing, why is this number still so high?
