Join NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 21 for "How Can Lessons Learned from Covering the AIDS Epidemic Inform COVID-19 Reporting?" This free online webinar will feature an expert panel of LGBTQ journalists living with HIV, and will explore ethical considerations and best practices for covering COVID-19, drawn from their past experiences covering HIV. It will include an open dialogue on lessons news professionals can learn from the AIDS epidemic to fairly and accurately cover the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Moderated by CNN Health producer Jen Christensen, the panel will include The Well Project Consulting Editor Olivia Ford, POZ Editor-in-Chief Oriol Gutierrez and "My Fabulous Disease" publisher and blogger Mark S. King.
