Submitted on Sep 16, 2025

Menopause is a natural process for people who menstruate – and it is not the end of your vitality!

There is some evidence that women living with HIV, including lifetime survivors, may experience the changes of menopause earlier than HIV-negative women – and that their symptoms may be more intense. However, we need more research to support these reports – and more open conversation about how menopause affects our bodies and lives.

On September 18, National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day, take a moment to share these infographics and spread knowledge about menopause and HIV. Let's talk about it!
