Estoy muy contenta de estar aquí y de compartir por fin un poco sobre mi viaje viviendo con VIH. Con el año llegando a su fin, pensé que sería un buen momento para sentarme y reflexionar, no sólo sobre este año, sino sobre lo lejos que he llegado en general.

Esta compilación de historias es solo uno de los esfuerzos de Christie's Place para hacer algo por la falta de visibilidad de las mujeres que viven con el VIH. Nuestro objetivo es fomentar un cambio cultural en las narrativas dañinas que permiten que persista el estigma relacionado con el VIH.

This compilation of stories is just one approach Christie's Place has made toward addressing the visibility of women living with HIV. We aim to encourage a cultural shift in harmful narratives that enable HIV-related stigma to persist.

I am so happy to be here and to finally share a bit about my journey living with HIV. With the year coming to an end, I thought it would be a good time to sit down and reflect—not just on this year, but on how far I have come overall.

This webinar will review highlights of the guideline updates, key findings from The Well Project's 2024 survey, discuss ongoing challenges, and impress the need for continued efforts to increase knowledge among healthcare providers, women and other people living with HIV.
